The beaches of “
CAUEIRA”, “ABAÍS”, “SACO DO RIO”, “PONTAL”,
“TERRA CAÍDA” AND “ILHA DA SERENIDADE” translate
the beauty of the whole Cost of the Dunes, in
the South coast of Sergipe. A true paradise with
blinding landscapes: extensive beaches, ponds,
virgin forests, wild coconut palm and gold dunes
that reach 230 height meters. By buggy or on
horseback, it is an invitation for a walk. And,
with some imagination, it is possible to feel
like Lawrence from Arabia in the middle of
desert. The beaches, considered of high
environmental quality, they are the favourite
landing of the ones who have beach house close
to the sea.
The area is completed with Mangue Seco, in
Bahia, where the writer Jorge Amado was inspired
for the romance Tieta. The entrance is from
Sergipe, by boat or catamarã, crossing the
estuary of Piauí and Real rivers. |
